TWO HARBORS, MN (April 1, 2026) — Lovin’ Lake County, Lake County’s destination marketing organization, announces that Sammy Kershaw, the Grammy-nominated performer who helped shape and make the ‘90s a shining decade for country music, will headline the Heritage Days Street Dance on July 10, 2026, in downtown Two Harbors, MN. About Sammy Kershaw

Iconic country entertainer Sammy Kershaw has earned three platinum and six gold albums, with more than 5 million records sold and nearly 100 million songs streamed. Often called the “heir apparent” to George Jones, the GRAMMY-nominated artist helped define the sound of ‘90s country with hits like “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “Queen of My Doublewide Trailer,” “Cadillac Style,” and “Love of My Life.” Raised in Kaplan, Louisiana, Kershaw was inspired early by legends like Jones and Conway Twitty, even opening for them as a teenager before launching his own chart-topping career.

Kershaw continues to tour to sold-out crowds, both solo and with the popular Roots & Boots Tour alongside Collin Raye and Aaron Tippin. He continues recording new music and is working on his long-awaited autobiography; he remains committed to evolving as an artist. With a career full of highs, lows, and enduring hits, Kershaw’s focus is simple: to keep getting better and stay true to the traditional country sound that made him a star.

Two Harbors Heritage Days, held the weekend of July 9th-12th, is an annual summer festival that celebrates the community’s rich history and North Shore spirit.

Featuring live music, local food, a parade, street dance, classic cars, and family-friendly events throughout the weekend, the lively tradition brings residents and visitors together on the shores of Lake Superior.
