Cross-country skiing in Lake County may be one of the best ways to enjoy winter and get a great workout. There’s something magical about Nordic skiing in northern Minnesota, and Lake County offers a pleuthra of groomed trails to explore from the North Shore to Ely, MN.

Lose yourself in nature, release some endorphins, grab your skis, and head out into the peaceful wilderness where you’ll soon find your inner peace. Feel your worries melt away as you focus on the sound of new snow crunch beneath your feet and as you watch your breath rhythmically move in and out.
