Join Park Naturalist Mic, on a tour of Gooseberry Falls State Park’s major waterfalls, in the most adaptive way possible. We will discuss how the waterfalls were formed and will ponder why humans are drawn to powerful demonstrations of nature’s strength.
On this accessible route on ADA paved trails, we will stay on level pavement, accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. The paved path is slightly uphill. The first overlook is one block from the visitor center. There are overlooks separated about a block apart and visitors can go as far as they prefer on a given tour.
Meet outside of the visitor center doors by program banner.
Call ahead if you have questions about the route or needs Mic could be better aware of. Naturalist will be prepared with multiple routes or interpretive learning options.
Free parking is available in the main, wayside rest parking lot.
Canceled if lightning.
