This summer, Rocky Wall Productions, Best of the North Shore and Lovin’ Lake County present “Music in the Park – A Free Summer Concert Series” at the Silver Bay City Center Park. Performances happen every Friday at 7:30 PM, starting July 14 and ending on September 1.

About Rich Mattson and the North Stars

Hailing from the great north woods of Minnesota, Rich Mattson and Germaine Gemberling have been writing, recording, and performing together since 2010. Their latest incarnation of the Northstars (with drummer Keely Lane and bassist Kyle Westrick) released their fifth album, Skylights, in February of 2021 to rave reviews and high praise from the indie rock / Americana / jangle-core crowd. A Minnesota music staple, Mattson is well known for his songwriting, outstanding showmanship, and work with thousands of artists at his Sparta Sound recording studio.
