Camping at Wildhurst
Each campsite provides a private, rustic setting with fire rings and picnic tables. There are four RV sites with 40 amp and water, dry lodge rooms, and coming soon: yurts! The log cabins are rustic, but all have electricity, propane heat, a mini fridge, a microwave, and screened-in porches with a log swing that overlooks Wildhurst Creek. All sites and rooms come with around-the-clock access to shower rooms.
Winter at Wildhurst
Snowmobilers favor this area of Lake County with its miles of unplowed service and logging roads. You can leave directly from Wildhurst and take the Moose Run trail to the North Shore Trail or Moose Walk trail. More than 1,000 miles of groomed trail stretch from Finland to Grand Portage, Ely, and Duluth. People love ATV riding here due to the spectacular views and, of course, amazing fall colors.
