Address
520 South Ave, Two Harbors, MN, 55616, USA
The Duluth and Iron Range Railroad played a vital role in the development of northern Minnesota’s economy and its iron ore industry, serving passenger and freight needs until 1961. In addition to housing the Depot Museum, the historical building also holds the Lake County Historical Societies’ administrative offices, archive storage, and the new Judge William Scott Library, currently in progress.
The Depot Museum’s exhibits reflect the development of Lake County, showcasing three of northern Minnesota’s major industries: iron mining and the railroad, timber, and commercial fishing.
Visitors will enjoy the exhibits, trains, and history.
