Fall Lake near Ely and the BWCA offers public access to fishing and boating. Anglers can fish for crappie, golden walleyes, and northern pike. Fall Lake also features a seasonal campground on the lake's northeast end. and is home to a few Ely resorts. The Kawishiwi River and the trailhead is located nearby.
