The Birch Lake Campground in Ely, MN, sits on the shore of Birch Lake, a 21-mile-long lake with 80 miles of shoreline featuring many beautiful islands.
The 14 backcountry campsites give guests a remote, quiet atmosphere. They are especially popular with those who enjoy fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, bluegill, and crappie.
Additionally, Birch Lake Campground offers two camper cabins in the South Loop:
- Popple Cabin, across from site 20
- Tamarack Cabin, across from site 26.
